PMMI & Alliant Insurance Services Partner to Launch PMMI Member Business Insurance Program
Program includes general liability and workers' compensation coverage

Arlington, Va.; July 7, 2008 - PMMI and Alliant Insurance Services announce a partnership to deliver business insurance products supporting property, general liability and worker's compensation underwriting to PMMI member companies. PMMI and Alliant will partner with The Hartford to provide workers' compensation insurance and the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies for general liability insurance, which includes product liability, manufacturer's errors and omissions, product recall and international coverage.

"The PMMI Business Insurance Program will be a true member program. It gives members flexibility regarding their broker services and will, over time, leverage participating member company spending in order to provide a dividend once a predetermined premium threshold is met," announces Matt Croson, vice president of communication & member services, PMMI.

Quality Providers, Innovative Benefits

The PMMI Business Insurance Program is a multi-faceted program with in depth coverage through well-known, exceptional carriers. Its unique extra services, provided at no additional charge, help participating member companies run more smoothly and more efficiently:

General Liability Coverage - The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies will underwrite participating member companies' product liability coverage. Now the 11th largest property and casualty insurer in the United States, the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has delivered exceptional property and casualty insurance products for more than 125 years. Fortune magazine ranked Chubb as the 176th largest US-based corporation and one of America's 400 Best Big Companies.

Workers Compensation - The Hartford Financial Services Group will underwrite participating member companies' workers' compensation coverage. Founded in 1810, The Hartford was ranked fifth in the United States for worker's compensation (based on direct, written premiums) in 2007 and is number 95 on the Fortune 100 list. Participating PMMI member companies will especially benefit from its high level of expertise in adjudicating claims.

Brokerage Flexibility - Alliant Insurance Services will be the primary broker overseeing the program. Members can access the PMMI Business Insurance program by going directly through Alliant, which has certified brokers throughout the United States, or through the member's current broker. If a member company chooses to join via its own broker, the broker must contact Alliant to qualify and must coordinate with Alliant to ensure the company gets the full benefits available to member companies. There are no additional fees for members using their own brokers.

Strategic HR - At no extra charge, participating member companies gain access to Strategic HR, a fully-owned subsidiary of Alliant specializing in human resources, loss control and safety services. Participating members will be able to engage HR consultants to support many of their HR-related issues at no cost, or access expanded HR services at a substantial discount.

Nationwide Risk Consulting - Participating member companies will gain access to Nationwide Risk Consulting, a company focused on uncovering costly errors in worker compensation settlements. The company will audit member companies' past claims, prior audits and experience modification worksheets, and will assist members in obtaining all appropriate reductions in payments. Nationwide will share equally of any adjustments with the respective PMMI member company.

A Program for Members

"Alliant Insurance Services is pleased to be working with PMMI, Chubb and The Hartford to deliver strong value to PMMI members through both primary insurance products, and the value-added programs," notes John Muha, executive vice president, Alliant Insurance Services Inc. "Over time, as the participating members work together to create a dividend feature for both insurance products, I am confident it will be a true member program and PMMI members will be proud to be part of it."
